Your sources must include at least three primary sources (these can be published journal articles in peer reviewed journals, or maps/reports from geological surveys or government agencies). You may use as many secondary sources as you like (including popular science articles, magazines, web pages, etc). Be very discriminating about your secondary sources, as these can contain inaccurate or out-of-date information.
- An embedded google map showing the location of the feature
- A geological map of the feature
- A general description of the feature, including the rock types present, their age, the age of deformation, and the overall tectonic setting.
- A detailed description of the structures on the geological map
- A discussion of the deformation (strain) which contributed to formation of the feature
- If appropriate, a discussion of the stress/tectonics which caused the deformation.
- Use as many photos, detailed maps, movies, graphics, etc. as you like to help illustrate your web page.
